ATL Tools provides aviation calculation tools, including fuel uplift and flight time calculations, that work offline, together with optional online METAR/TAF weather retrieval. Airport search, the bundled airport catalog, Day/Night calculations, airport local-time and Sun calculations, and Help & Guides work offline. Weather retrieval requires an internet connection.
ATL Tools stores appearance preferences, favorite tool selections, saved airport identifiers and cached weather reports in private app storage on your device. No account or device-location permission is required.
When you use METAR/TAF, selected airport ICAO identifiers are sent to NOAA Aviation Weather Center at aviationweather.gov over HTTPS. The provider may receive standard connection information, such as your IP address and the app's User-Agent, as part of these requests. Calculator inputs, crew rosters and personal flight records are not sent to the weather provider.
Values entered into the application's calculators are processed locally on the user's device and are not transmitted to the developer or to third parties.
Preferences, favorite tools, saved airports and cached weather reports are stored locally on your device. Removing an airport removes it from the saved list, but does not necessarily delete all previously cached report files. You can remove the app's local data by clearing its storage in Android settings or uninstalling the app.
Cached weather reports are the last available reports and can become stale. They are not a guarantee of current observations or current conditions; check the observation time and any cached or stale indicators.
ATL Tools does not require users to create an account or provide personal information.
ATL Tools does not use advertising services, analytics services, tracking technologies, or third-party analytics SDKs.
Core calculators, airport search, Day/Night calculations and Help & Guides do not require internet access. Optional METAR/TAF requests are sent directly to aviationweather.gov over HTTPS for selected airports when the Weather screen retrieves or refreshes reports. Periodic refresh occurs while the screen is active.
Google Play in-app update checks and downloads retain their existing network behavior. Live NOTAM retrieval is not available in this version and remains COMING SOON.
The developer does not sell user data and does not receive calculator inputs, crew roster data or personal flight records. Optional weather retrieval transmits selected airport ICAO identifiers and standard HTTPS connection information to NOAA Aviation Weather Center as described above. The app has no advertising or analytics SDKs.
ATL Tools does not ask users, including children, to create an account or provide personal details. Local storage and optional weather requests operate as described in this policy.
